With demand continuing to grow, Childline asked Amaze to put children at the heart of its services with a digital transformation that’s now connecting 12,000+ more children to the charity every month via the contact page. The new Childline site features custom-built tools and services designed to improve and optimise Childline’s digital experience; safeguarding children and young people, eliminating barriers and future-proofing the charity.
Built on EPiServer and integrating NSPCC’s business systems, the website now offers private 1-2-1 chat with Childline counsellors, message boards, therapeutic drawing tools, private lockers, a personal inbox as well as huge volumes of information and advice.
Developed using personal experience of user needs, the transformation of Childline was about more than delivering the very best in digital technology, UX and design; it was about finding the right methods to deliver private, personal, secure support when users need it, in the format that’s right for them.
