Justin began his career as an A&R scout for Warner Music back in 1999, developing a skill for spotting raw talent in a busy marketplace. After providing himself with a lifelong dinner party anecdote by co-producing Razorlight’s first 2 singles and turning down playing and co-managing for the Libertines he moved into the murky world of New Media or Digital Marketing as it is now referred. Over the next 10 years Justin learnt skills in all digital marketing disciplines working at all of the major labels on albums such as Amy Winehouse ‘Back to Black’, DJ Shadow’s ‘The Outsider’, Deadmau5 ‘4×4=12’ and JLS ‘Evolution’ to name but a few before finishing his career in music as the Head of Digital for RCA.
Life after music saw Justin work a short stint at digital creative agency Holler as Head of Marketing Strategy before joining MediaCom in early 2015. At MediaCom Justin formed a new department that focuses on helping his clients get creative and commercial advantage from new technologies and the start-up community. As Head of Blink UK for MediaCom he has launched innovation programmes for the likes of Mars Inc. and Warner Music Group and is involved in developing new products and business streams for MediaCom.
