Audi UK needed to improve its digital presence, borne out by our analysis: bounce rate was high, and customer satisfaction low, with 75% finding the site ‘overwhelming’. The new Audi.co.uk was crafted around an aesthetic that sets the site apart through its minimalist and geometric approach, harmonising known customer pain-points with best practice, on-brand design. We worked in co-located agile teams, delivering in just 10 two-week sprints.

Somo re-imagined the way Audi communicates with customers online, solving major frustrations in the user journey, especially when comparing models, trims and prices. Using modern DevOps practices and by pushing React and AEM to their limits, we created a powerful adaptive website experience that disrupts the automotive sector. A number of innovative features, including a new product exploration journey, device sensing and an inventive grid solution for the homepage, led to proven efficiencies, increased velocity and a vast boost to KPIs.
