Your Role As A Judge

The BIMA Awards are judged annually by leading figures in the digital industry. 

  • Use your knowledge and experience to assess entries online prior to the Judging Day (maximum 1 day).
  • On the Judging Day itself (10 July) hare and discuss the latest ideas around great digital experiences with your fellow jury members.
  • Work with the other professionals in your judging category to give all entries a fair opportunity –understanding the work and context.
  • Provide written comments that BIMA can use to support the results and share with the entrants.

What Do I Need To Be A Judge?

We are looking for a diverse team of judges with a range of knowledge and skills to provide judging panels with a robust mix of digital and tech expertise.

Therefore, we are looking for applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  1. Have knowledge, skills and/or experience in a variety of business disciplines.
  2. Have substantial digital and tech experience. 
  3. Have sector knowledge in one or more of the following categories: Automotive, Education, Energy, utility& telecoms, FMCG, Financial Services, Healthcare, Leisure, Sport & Travel, Manufacturing, Media, entertainment & the arts, Professional Services, Public service & not for profit and Retail & Fashion.
