As the Group Chief Creative Officer, Julian spearheads Imagination’s creative vision and offer. Leading a global team of Creative Directors and a creative community that spans over sixty creative disciplines.

As an award winning creative leader, his role extends from strategic innovation and insight, to ideas generation, content definition and the expression of concepts across all creative channels. He sets the standard of creative excellence, pushing the boundaries, upholding and enhancing Imagination’s reputation as a world leading creative agency.

Rigour, discipline and a commitment to collaboration underpin his involvement with brands across all sectors within the Imagination portfolio, driving the development of integrated innovative ideas delivering value in every way.

Julian is an Alumnus of The Royal College of Art, where he graduated with a Masters degree in Architecture and Design, winning the prestigious Fleur Cowles award. Before joining Imagination in 1996, he was involved in major architectural projects in Hong Kong, Japan and USA. These included the design and delivery of the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club building and racecourse at Happy Valley, as well as the award winning Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds UK.

Outside Imagination Julian utilises his creative skills to support the Eve Appeal Cancer Trust, Sue Ryder and supports the Macmillan Cancer Care board as an independent strategic adviser.
